Omnidawn Poetry Writing Conference, Thursday – Sunday, June 11-14, 2020 (COVID Cancelled)
Faculty: Brenda Hillman, David Koehn, Hoa Nguyen, Craig Santos Perez, and Carl Philips The Omnidawn Poetry Writing Conference will be held at Saint Mary’s College campus in Moraga, California, which is 15 miles east of San Francisco. The conference offers workshops, craft talks, and author readings. Each attendee will participate in five approximately three-hour-long workshops, one with each faculty member, with workshops limited to a maximum of 10 participants.

AWP Panel: Donald Justice: An Appreciation (Eric Pankey, Jerry Harp, Carol Frost, David Koehn), March 7-10 2018.
A panel of Donald Justice's former students from both the University of Iowa and the University of Florida will discuss his reputation as a poet, as an expert on poetic form, and as an innovated teacher. Justice has been described by the Poetry Foundation as "one of the twentieth century's most quietly influential poets." The panel will investigate and illuminate his ongoing posthumous influence.
